Is cow's milk as good as advertised? According to many scientific studies, cow's milk contains all kinds of ingredients of an industrial product. Here are some reasons why cow's milk is not good for your health as advertised.
· Hydrated with antibiotics and preservatives
· An agent that promotes early puberty and aging
· The cause of indigestion in children.
· Not suitable for the heart because of the harmful fat content.
· Milk allergies
· Cause acne
· Cause calcium deficiency if drinking too much.
So, if we don't drink cow's milk, what do we drink? If you drink cow's milk in moderation, it will not cause so much harm to your health. Let's consider it as a supplementary snack, not a gift from nature. As vegan diets become more popular around the globe, people are also gradually changing their habits of drinking industrial cow's milk to healthier, natural grain milk without harming any animals.
According to the Eastern doctrine, every living being is fed by cosmic energy, and the first accumulated energy is on greenery. When we eat these foods, we indirectly absorb energy from the sun. The seed is the representative that contains the most power of life, that is, the ability to grow, develop, germinate to start living.
Plants have drawn inorganic substances and essences from heaven and earth to flower to produce seeds, which is a miracle of nature's mother, giving miraculous life. So a vegan diet will help you focus more on eating balanced, natural, and healthy foods.
Today, Wellanda will introduce 4 Non-Dairy Milk Recipes to help you have a better life.
Cashew Milk
Cashew milk is one of the most delicious dairy milk of all types and contains many nutrients comparable to cow's milk (but it has many better effects than a dozen times cow's milk). In the US, cashew milk is trendy, and almost every dish is indispensable if you want to make milk.
With incredibly delicious taste, greasy and rich in nutrients, cashew milk is suitable for children over one year old. Mothers should give their children cashew milk in combination with eating high protein foods. That will help children eat well, gain weight, and good for digestion.
Pregnancies are also essential to supplement this type of nutrition. Knowing how to use this milk will help the fetus be smart, healthier. Specifically, 1/4 cup of cashew milk consumed mom will receive 37.4% of monounsaturated fat daily to make the heart healthier, 38% of the daily amount of copper needed, and 22.3% of magnesium.
Cashew milk contains lots of heart-healthy fats. Unlike cow's milk with high cholesterol, older adults with cardiovascular disease must abstain from bad fats, which are tolerated by the body to prevent blood pressure and blood fat.
Ingredients:
· 1 cup raw cashews
· 4 cups of water
· 1-2 tbsp maple syrup/honey
· 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
· Sea salt
How to do:
· Soak cashews overnight, drain and wash them off.
· Put cashews in a high-power blender and add the remaining ingredients. Wait until milk is smooth and creamy.
· Put cashew milk into a container and refrigerate.
Soy milk
American scientists have concluded: Soy and soy extracts have effects on reducing diastolic blood pressure, lowering total cholesterol, reducing LDL-cholesterol, preventing the progression of atheroma, improving the elasticity of arteries.
Soy milk is usually mild in flavor, and the taste may vary between brands. It is the best substitute for cow's milk in the main dishes, with coffee or oats.
Nutritionally, soy milk is a substitute for cow's milk because it has the same protein content, but only half as many calories, lipids, and carbohydrates. This is one of the rare sources of protein. That is why soy milk is so prevalent in Vietnam, partly because it is full of nutrition, partly because of its extremely affordable price. (But soy milk does not encourage men to drink much, there are signs of physiological decline if they drink much soy milk).
Ingredients:
· ½ cup white soybeans
· 2-3 cups of water
· 4 cups of water
· Sugar
How to do:
· Soak the soybeans in water overnight.
· Throw away the water and wash again
· Remove soy skin.
· Add 4 cups of water to the peeled beans to the blender. Blend until smooth.
· Filter the mixture with muslin butter or nut milk bag.
· Heat the milk to a stretch of 212 ° F (100 ° C). Keep this temperature for 20 minutes, frequently stirring to prevent sticking.
· Store in the refrigerator.
Oat Milk
Oat milk is naturally sweet and mild, used for cooking like cow's milk, or used to drink a great flavor with cereal or smoothies.
Oat milk is high in fiber and high in beta-glucan - a thick, gel-like gel of solvents that passes through the gut. Beta-glucan gel binds to cholesterol, which reduces the absorption of cholesterol in the body. That is to help lower cholesterol, especially LDL cholesterol, which is associated with a lower risk of heart disease.
A study in men with high cholesterol found that consuming 750ml of oat milk daily for five weeks reduced total cholesterol to 3% and LDL cholesterol to 5%.
Ingredients:
· 2 cups of rolled oats
· 8 cups of water
· Salt
· Vanilla extract
How to do:
· Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
· Pay attention to grinding time. Depending on the power of your blender, anywhere from 20 seconds to 60 seconds, is fine. It is essential, you should not mix too many oats or water. Otherwise, the mixture will be slimy.
Rice milk
Of all non-dairy milk, rice milk is the best carbohydrate type - about three times that of other products. Moreover, rice milk has a high glycemic index (GI) of 79-92, which means that it is quickly absorbed in the gut and increases blood sugar levels. For this reason, it is not the best choice for people with diabetes. Because of its low protein content, rice milk may not be the best choice for growing children, athletes, and the elderly, as they require high protein content.
Rice milk has been shown to contain high levels of inorganic arsenic, which are toxic in the environment. Long-term exposure to high levels of inorganic arsenic has been linked to a higher risk of health problems, mixed cancers, and heart disease.
Ingredients:
· 85 g brown rice
· ¼ tsp salt
· 1 - 2 tsp sugar
· 1-liter water
· 1 tsp vanilla extract
How to do:
· Put rice, salt, and sugar in a bowl and mix well
· Put the mixture in the blender for 1 minute, speed 8
· Add hot water and vanilla extract and blend for 7 minutes, reduce the speed to 3
· Increase the speed gradually to 8, blend in 1 minute.
· Store in a fridge
